Goof Troop vs Big Strike 4 (-72)
In a much-anticipated Week 2 matchup between rising powerhouse Goof Troop and the underdog squad Big Strike 4, it was all Troop, all night, as Goofy’s crew picked up right where they left off in Week 1, delivering a clean 3-0 sweep and firmly planting themselves in second place in the league standings.
Big Strike 4 entered the night hoping their generous 72-pin handicap would help even the playing field against a Goof Troop team that was coming in hot. But it quickly became clear that even Baymax’s calming presence couldn’t shake off the slow start. The heroes appeared “deflated”, perhaps Hiro forgot to download the proper bowling algorithm, and posted the lowest score of the night at 784.
Meanwhile, Goof Troop rolled with confidence, putting up a consistent team effort with all four members contributing solid outings. The Troop coasted to a win, 857–784.
Big Strike 4 regrouped in Game 2 with a stronger performance, but it wasn’t nearly enough to match Goof Troop’s record-breaking display. The team surged ahead with the highest single-game score of the season so far with a blistering 941.
Leading the charge was Huy Nguyen, whose stunning 266 might as well have been straight out of Powerline’s "Stand Out" playbook. He wasn’t alone though: team captain Andrew Dai and sharpshooter Anny Vien also dropped big scores. Dillon.. was present. Despite Big Strike 4’s improved synergy, they were still outgunned, falling 941–817.
Going into Game 3, Big Strike 4 looked to pull out a consolation win. But much like Baymax’s power reserves at the end of a long mission, the squad seemed to be running on fumes. Though they pushed to within 30 pins, the Goof Troop stayed locked in, calmly closing out the night with an 846–816 win to complete the sweep.
With another dominating performance, Goof Troop improves to 12 points and locks themselves into 2nd place in the standings. Huy Nguyen, finished again in the Top 5 this week, continues his strong season and is quickly becoming one of the league's early MVP candidates.
Meanwhile, Big Strike 4 holds on to 2 points through two weeks and faces an uphill climb. The chemistry of Hiro’s crew needs some recalibration if they want to avoid getting left behind. There’s still plenty of season left, but the team must find their “upgrades” soon if they want to be more than just a loveable underdog.
Will Goof Troop keep groovin’ toward the top? Will Big Hero 6 find their inner superhero spark?
Next week could change everything.
Goof Troop: 7 points

Roar Omega Roar vs Lyin’ Kings (-27)
In a clash worthy of the Disney Hall of Fame, Roar Omega Roar and The Lion Kings went paw-to-claw in a fiercely contested three-game bowling match that came down to the final frame of each round. Fueled by pride, pressure, and a few celebratory beverages, both teams delivered a performance filled with grit, glory, and a bit of goofiness.
Coming off a rough Week 1 performance, Roar Omega Roar captain Stephen Chiu looked more like the top scarer he was born to be. Channeling his inner Sulley, Stephen led by example in Game 1, bouncing back with a composed, confident showing. It was a team effort, though, with steady frames from the majority of the odd-ball fraternity helping fend off a red-hot Isaac Ly from The Lyin' Kings.
Despite a roaring push from the Pride Lands, Roar Omega Roar held on by the skin of Sulley’s fur, taking the opener 819 to 815—a razor-thin 4-pin victory that set the tone for the night.
If Game 1 was an epic, Game 2 was more of a blooper reel. Neither team could find much rhythm, and the scoreboard looked more like a scavenger hunt than a competitive matchup. With only one player across both rosters managing to finish above their average (by a modest 2 pins), it was a struggle for consistency.
Still, in true Monsters University fashion, Roar Omega Roar showed heart to squeak out another tight win 805 to 803, a two-pin escape that felt more like surviving finals week than winning a game. Let’s just say nobody's putting this one in the highlight reel.
With the overall match already locked up thanks to back-to-back wins, Roar Omega Roar might have let their guard down a bit in Game 3, especially Brian Le, who might’ve started celebrating slightly too early with the Incredi-bowls bowler Shelby Garcia. Fortunately, Brian started the game like Mike Wazowski on a mission, closing out six frames and even tossing a beautiful four-bagger to start.
But somewhere around frame 7, the Hakuna Matata vibes might’ve turned into Hakuna Hangover. A first-ball gutter spelled doom for Brian, and the monsters never fully recovered. Meanwhile, the jungle drums started beating louder, as The Lion Kings roared back to life. Captain Hieu, Isaac Ly, and Vinh Ly had their best performances in the season so far, pulling off a well-earned win 902 to 888.
That 14-pin margin was enough not just to salvage a game, but also to snatch the total pin count bonus point—a valuable prize in a matchup this close.
It was a night full of drama, redemption, and last-frame fireworks. Roar Omega Roar leaves with the series win, but The Lion Kings walk away with their heads high, clawing out a crucial bonus point and proving they’re a force to be reckoned with.
In the end, this wasn’t just a match, it was a Disney-sized showdown, full of character arcs, misadventures, and the kind of intensity that would make even Scar sweat.
Roar Omega Roar: 4 points
Lyin' Kings: 3 points
Pinside Out vs. Demigods (- 4)
In Week 2, The Demigods took on Pinside Out, who are coming out of week 1 absolutely joyful with a strong performance and 7 points. On paper, it was the closest matchup of the night with Pinside Out receiving a mere 4-pin advantage. But what unfolded was a rollercoaster of emotions, heroics, and one of the most dramatic finishes of the season.
Inside Out exploded out of the gate in Game 1, channeling their inner Anger and Joy in perfect balance. Huan’s Emotions were clearly dialed in and focused on the task. Every Emotion on Pinside out contributed heavily to stabilize Huan’s Emotions from dysregulation. Pinside Out posted a monster 930, far and away the highest score in game 1 that night. The Fates were not in favor of The Demigods in game 1. The Demigods had an admirable game, scoring 861 pins. A performance worthy of defeating 6 out of 7 teams in game 1, unfortunately, they went up against the 1.
Game 2: Hercules Mounts a Heroic Comeback
With their backs against the wall, The Demigods regrouped like true Olympians. Team captain Tony summoned his inner Zeus and dropped a thunderous 260, while rookie Trisha transformed into a strike-slinging Megara, coming into her own with a breakout performance of 248. Inside Out didn’t collapse, they simply got edged out in a nail-biting Game 2. Joy and Sadness bowled admirably, but Hercules clawed back just enough to grab the win.
Tensions were high. The series was tied. Emotions were flying faster than Hermes on espresso. Both teams came out swinging in what quickly became the fiercest Game 3 of the night. Pinside Out bowled their hearts out, clocking in a whopping 903, enough to take out most teams in game 3 that night, 6 teams to be exact. Unfortunately for Pinside Out, the Demigods were able to turn the tides of fate just in time. In game 3, The Demigods went full god mode, and put up a staggering 922. This time, The Demigods were the 1.
While The Demigods walked away with the series victory (2-1), they never managed to fully climb the Mt. Olympus of pin count. Pinside Out, despite the series loss, won the total pin count by +34, thanks to their Game 1 performance. It's a reminder that in bowling, every frame, and every emotion, counts.
Demigods: 4 points
Pinside Out: 3 points
Cool Runnings vs The Incredi-bowls (+21)
The Incredi-bowls came into week 2 flying high after scoring a full 7 points in the cellar matches, A stark contrast to Cool Runnings, who slid into week 2 with 0 points. Despite being a relatively close match on paper, Cool Runnings receiving 21 pins, it was The Incredi-bowls who ultimately proved super in this showdown. The story of the game, however, wasn’t just about pins, it was about pride and wardrobe choices. After an explosive Week 1 performance, Vu Van made the bold decision to upgrade his super suit by adding a cape, much to the chagrin of revered suitmaker, Edna Mode.
Much is unknown about rookie Vu Van, and week 2 provided no answers. Vu Van and his new super suit were not seen on the lanes that night. Perhaps his suit was snagged in the ceiling fan or caught in the ball return. Subbing in for the Vu Van that night was someone named Jan?
Anyways, both teams came out cold in Game 1, struggling to hit their season averages. But while Cool Runnings struggled to find their rhythm, as well as their rhyme, The Incredibles found that Shelby “Frozone” Garcia is quite comfortable in the cold. Frozone stayed cool under pressure and singlehandedly froze any chance of a Cool Runnings comeback.
Cool Runnings fought valiantly. Team captain, Le Nguyen and Dan Lam brought the energy and consistency needed to give their team hope, even putting together a mid-game surge. But hope is not a superpower, and in the face of The Incredibles’ newfound momentum, it wasn’t enough.
The real spark came from Mr. Van Incredible himself, who dug deep into the archives and delivered a dominant, raw 213, the kind of score not seen from him since Season 6. Some spectators said it was reminiscent of Minnesota Legend Derrick Rose.
With the series already clinched, Game 3 saw some shifts in strategy. Frozone, perhaps sensing the job was done, appeared to take an early, and slightly suspicious, break from the action. Whether it was a veteran rest day or just a craving for a warm, trunk temperature beverage, the league may never know.
But the rest of the super squad didn’t miss a beat. Jayt-Jayt and the rest of the super team were more than capable to handle mop up duty and swept Cool Runnings as if they were henchmen. Even without their icy ace, The Incredibles were simply too much for the embattled Cool Runnings squad.
The Incredi-bowls leave Week 2 in first place with 14 points and are looking like serious contenders. Can Mr. Incredible stay in all-star form? Is Vu Van returning in week 3? Who was Jan? Will Jayt-Jayt be able to keep his powers in control?
As for Cool Runnings, individually, the team has the rhythm, and the spirit. But they have to learn to dance together as a team. Until they put it all together in sync, they’ll keep chasing, not leading.
Incredi-bowls: 7 points
